Services Provided

Career Awakenings/Malka Weintraub provides career counseling, coaching, and related professional services, as a licensed professional. These services are intended for counseling, and coaching purposes only and do not constitute medical treatment or long term psychological therapy.

All services are provided on a voluntary basis. Clients maintain the right to terminate services at any time. Malka Weintraub, LCPC reserves the right to discontinue services if she determines that continued counseling would not be beneficial or appropriate.

Confidentiality & Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All information shared during counseling sessions is kept strictly confidential, except in circumstances required by law.

Our privacy practices comply with applicable counseling standards and ethical guidelines of the American Counseling Association.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the conclusion of each counseling session. We accept various payment methods which will be discussed during your initial consultation.

While we strive to provide affordable services, payments are expected for all scheduled sessions attended. Failure to pay may result in discontinuation of services.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise. We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

No-shows (missed appointments without notice) may be charged the full session fee.

Disclaimer of Results

Career Awakenings employs evidence-based techniques and has helped thousands of clients achieve their goals. However, individual results may vary. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

Your success depends on many factors including your commitment to the process, timely completion of tasks, active participation in sessions, and other individual circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

Career Awakenings shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services or reliance on any information provided.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.

Modification of Terms

Career Awakenings reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
